Steve Lieb is a Portfolio Manager for LaSalle’s custom account clients that invest in the United States, a position he assumed in September 2017. In this role, he is responsible for actively managing portfolios of office, retail, multifamily and industrial investments located throughout the US, while delivering strong investment performance that meets or exceeds client objectives. He develops and drives execution of individual portfolio strategies including selection of new investments, oversight of key property-level initiatives, financings and hold/sell decisions.
With more than 25 years of industry experience, Steve has served in asset management and portfolio management roles over the last 20 years. Prior to joining LaSalle, he served as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Heitman, where he focused on managing separate accounts for large pension fund clients across various property types and risk profiles, along with specific asset management responsibilities. Prior to Heitman, Steve was a Portfolio Manager at Equity Office Properties, with oversight of more than 50 million square feet of investments valued in excess of $13 billion.
Steve earned a B.A. from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from The University of Illinois at Chicago.
