Chris Lewis is a Managing Director in the Debt and Value-Add Strategies team and serves as Fund Manager for the LaSalle Value-Add (LaVA) program. Since 2001, he has managed a number of funds for a variety of clients, as well as successful acquisitions across Europe with expertise across sectors and the core, core-plus and value-add risk categories.
Chris re-joined LaSalle as Head of Transactions (UK) in June 2014 from Cordea Savills, where he was Director of Investment and member of the Investment Committee. Prior to joining Cordea Savills as a Partner in 2006, he was at LaSalle where he was a Portfolio Manager, having transferred in 2001 from Jones Lang LaSalle (retail investment). Chris began his real estate career in 1996 and has extensive experience in advising and managing investment portfolios.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Urban Land Economics from Sheffield Hallam University and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He also holds the Investment Management Certificate (UKSIP), is a member of the Investment Property Forum (IPF) and a Certified Person under the FCA’s Senior Managers Certification Regime (SMCR).
